In November 2011, Price Philanthropies endowed the University of Southern California (USC) Sol Price School of Public Policy (Sol's Alma mater) to honor the life and legacy of Sol Price and promote the mission and values of Price Philanthropies.
The endowment also established the Sol Price Center for Social Innovation to advance ideas, strategies, and practices that enhance the quality of life for people in urban communities.
Over the last several years, USC’s faculty and students have become participants in Price Philanthropies’ efforts to revitalize City Heights through innovative research projects analyzing various community initiatives and issues such as affordable housing, safe routes to school, food security, and transportation.
